Hello,
a MAN D2866TE 11.5 liter Turbo Diesel is for sale. It was installed in a wooden cutter and sealed to 260 hp. According to the documents, he has 410 HP on the truck. Engine was proven to run flawlessly in 2017. After an accident in the port of Büsum, the engine was briefly under water in 2018. A local engine workshop in Büsum then flushed the engine completely and filled it with diesel to the top.
Unfortunately the starter could not be saved and is no longer available. The injectors have been removed for overhaul. But this did not happen and so there are only the empty nozzle sticks and are there.
So the engine was in the ship for another year. It was built last weekend because the ship was scrapped. Diesel was pumped out and the engine placed on a pallet. I removed a valve cover to show that it is not rusty. Turbocharger also turns and runs smoothly.
It is covered so that rainwater cannot enter.
Unfortunately, some things were damaged during removal, the fuel filter housing was destroyed, the connection for the cooling water on the turbo was also damaged. However, a filter housing can be obtained and the motor turns.
Attention engine is not marinated and can also be installed in a truck again!
The engine must be picked up in Büsum. Delivery possible for 30 cents per kilometer.
